Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

This Bayonet features blued metal fittings overall, with double Waffen Amt stamped pommel with working external release button, with screw in bakelite grips and metal guard & muzzle slot. The 25.5 cm long blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to each side of the blade, with no evidence of sharpening, good spear point, with blade being in very good condition overall with the original blued finish - heavily greased. Ricasso stamped 921 b & ddl for Josua Corts as well as date 43 (1943) next to the makers code. Standard metal scabbard with most of the protective blue brown finish, with matching numbers and maker as well as date code. Minor surface rusted scabbard, finish worn down where the frog used to sit.
