The album documents the service of a Luftwaffe member serving with 4.Staffel/Aufklärungsgruppe 11. The unit flew reconnaissance flights for the 4. Armee during the battles in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
The first page comes with a hand-signed dedication by Hauptmann Hoffmann. Excellent large-size aerial photographs, shots of destroyed buildings and foreign tanks, Rudolf Hess during a visit to the unit as well photos of the planes. This nice album is rounded off with handwritten information by the soldier.
