The album begins in April 1940 with his training at Fliegerhorst Friedrichshafen. In the further course, it documents the campaign in France. Mainly shots from the soldiers' daily life. Including WWI photos of his brother "Hermann" as well as a few photos, taken in the 1950s. Hand-written notes by the soldier inside.
