Family purchased and available on the market the frist time!

Early SS Service Dagger made by Robert Klaas, Solingen.

Black wooden handle with inserted SS roundel and national eagle. Signs of wear but no damage and the runes were sanded ("denazified"). Matching nickel fittings. "II" (Dresden) stamped to the back of the lower crossguard. "Robert Klaas" maker marked to the blade. Furthermore the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". Stained. 

Steel scabbard with nickel fittings. Remains of the original black finish in place. The ring to fix the hanger is missing. Small dents to the lower fitting. All four screws present.

An overall matching and untouched dagger.
