Excellent photo album to an Oberfeldwebel serving with III./Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 16. His name as well as his military career are noted on page 7 of the album. However, partially very hard to read.
Listed awards: Luftwaffe Long Service Award for 4 years, 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, Sudetenland Medal, East Medal, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Ground Assault Badge and Close Combat Clasp in bronze.
The album starts with an excellent portrait photo of him. He is wearing the AFRIKA and KRETA cuff title and the Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge as well as the Ground Assault Badge. Photos of his military training. Excellent shots of the paratrooper equipment and uniforms (green and camo jumping smocks). Furthermore two photos of Hermann Göring and two photos of Knight's Cross/Oak Leaves winners. Some photos were taken in Greece. The first page comes with a hand-signed dedication by Oberleutnant Friedrich Harreis, Knight's Cross on 24. March 1943. "Russia, May 1942" dated.
