VIEW DESCRIPTION

A nicely worn M43 field tunic for a Jäger Gefreiter issued in 1944. Silk lining. Size marked and "M44" depot marked. All buttons complete and period time attached. One period time re-attached. Typical late war buttons as used in 1944.

Including a whistle on lanyard and this soldier's ID tag on original cord.

Machine- as well as hand-applied woven EM/NCO braest eagle. Machine-applied EM collar tabs.
Green piped Jäger shoulder boards. EM type to slip-on.

Hand-applied wartime Gefreiter rank sleeve badge with grey tress.
Hand-applied Jäger machine-embroidered sleeve badge.

Two award attached through the cloth. A zinc infantry assault badge in silver. Unmarked. A black Wound Badge. Marked with 3 bars.

Fine silk lining. Two belt hooks in place.
Medium size. One repair. One moth hole to the right shoulder. Condition 2.
