Kill report document grouping to Leutnant Barthel serving with the II./Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 together with his radio operator Feldwebel Rupprecht and his gunner Feldwebel Mennen.This had been Barthel's 4th aerlial victory.

Original NJG1 issued "Abschussmeldung" (kill report) for the above-mentioned group's kill of a four-motored Britsh Lancaster on 21.2.1945.
Documents state that the operation was called "Varus" and other units were also involved in the operation (FLAK).
The report signed by the group commander and Hauptmann Breves.
"Gefechtsbericht" signed by Barthel and two "Luftkampfberichte" signed by Rupprecht and Baur.
