Fantastic "Bergmütze" mountain cap for a Jäger. A privately purchased example constructed with a short visor which is typical for a mountain cap. Officer's bullion cord. Originally "zick-zack" machine-attached machine-woven cap eagle. EM/NCO pattern. The swastika was cut out.
An iron "Jäger" cap badge attached with all three prongs.
Two visor cap buttons with two prongs each to the front side other than the usual buttons which are sewn in. Interestingly, his second mountain cap was also issued with such buttons.
