Description

Very nice RAD officer's tunic named to Oberfeldmeister Steinhauser. Family purchased and never available on the market before.

Fine brown silk lining. Tailored by "August Dickinger". A nice tailor's label is attached by machine. Name tag to the inside pocket named to "Feldm. Steinhauser". "9.8.38" dated.

All insignia period time attached. The swastika armband was removed. A shadow can still be seen.

Machine-woven officer's type "M" (Hauptmeldebeamter) sleeve badge attached by hand. Hand-attached officer's collar tabs. Sewn-in "Oberfeldmeister" shoulder boards. Originally attached War Merit Cross 2nd Class ribbon. All buttons originally attached.

WW1 Wound Badge in black attached to a pair of loops. A very fine RZM marked NSDAP membership badge attached through the cloth. A five place ribbon bar attached through the cloth. All badges definitely belonged to Steinhauser.

Only a few minor moth bites. Very nice condition 2
