Description

Extensive grouping to SS-Hauptscharführer and medic Andreas Lösch. Lösch served as a "Legion Condor" member during the Spanish Civil War and was awarded the Spanish Cross in silver. During WWII, Lösch served as a Stabsscharführer (Spieß) with several units. There are several field post letters part of the grouping which provide more details on his units which were (at least): 2. Sanitäts-Kompanie SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen", I./Art.Abt.SS-Polizei-Division, 4./SS-San.Ers.Batl. Stettin and "Waffen-SS Strafvollzugslager Mosbach" where he served from 1944 until 1945.

Fieldpost grouping containing 10 postwar letters from or to Andreas Lösch during his time as a POW. Furthermore, there are 13 wartime letters. All with connection to this service in the SS.

A few are "Feldpostnummer" stamped 47444 which stands for: 2. Sanitats-Kompanie SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen". 

There are letters address to his wife Alwine Lösch who lived at the "SS-Siedlung" in Oranienburg. One letter to his wife asking to bring his certificates to the War Merit Cross, the Spanish Cross and a Croatian award. It is "Waffen-SS Strafvollzugslager" stamped. He served in Mosbach. Another February 1945 dated letter is "Stravollzugslager der SS und Polizei" stamped. Again, sent from Mosbach. 

One card is stamped "II./1.SS-Totenkopf-Reiterstandarte - SS Erholungsheim Zakopane. There is a "SS Kriegslazarett Krakauf I" marked postcard, a letter mentioning his unit II./Art.Abt.SS-Polizei-Division, 4./SS-San.Ers.Batl. Stettin.
