"Böker Solingen" maker marked to the blade. Furthermore the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". Stained. Black wooden handle with an inserted national eagle and SS roundel. Two stress cracks in the wood. Nickel fittings. "III" stamped on the lower crossguard.
Original black factory painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. No dents. All four screws in place and unopened. With leather hanger.
Including a certificate of authenticity by Carsten Baldes from Neu-Ulm. In our opinion, it is a cleaned early dagger with a rather later, replaced but original scabbard.
