Family purchased grouping to a Bavarian WW1 and WW2 period time officer. All medals were nicely wrapped in papers and stored in an old cigar box. Please see other lots at auction.

A very nice 6-place medal consisting of 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Bavarian Military Order 4th Class with Swords, Honor Cross of WWI, Heer Long Service Award for 4 years, Westwall Medal, and Reichsluftschutzbund "RLB" Air Defense Medal. The Bavarian Military Order has two small chips in the enamel. "950" silver hallmarked and "J.L" (Jacob Leser) maker marked.
Including three matching ribbon bars. Each ribbon bar also bears the miniature Clasp to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class.
Furthermore, a cigar case in which the veteran has kept his badges over the years. On the top, there is a paper label with the handwritten text "Josef's Kriegsauszeichnungen 1914-18".
