Two photo albums to Albert Zisler serving with Infanterie-Regiment 382. Part of the 164. Infanterie-Division (renamed Festungs- Division Kreta on 1. January 1942). Around 1942 he switched to the Luftwaffe. He was involved in the campaigns in Italy, Greece, France, and Africa. Beautiful shots in the Luftwaffe tropical tunic, taken on the southern front. His handwritten notes give a good overview of his service. The last pages of the second album document his time as a prisoner of war from 1944 to 1946, as well as two postwar photos showing him as a veteran with his former comrades.
