Description

The items were souvenirs given by a crew member of U-776 to a British soldier at the boat's surrender in Portland, UK (May 16, 1945).

Waffen-SS "Prinz Eugen" cuff title. EM/NCO type. Worn by members of 7. SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen". Probably the soldier also served with this unit.

U-Boot Front Clasp in silver made by Schwerin. Maker marked. The pin is missing and the catch slightly bent.

U-Boot War Badge. "L/56" (Frank & Reif) maker marked. Zinc. Gilt.

Minesweeper War Badge. "Berlin Schwerin" maker marked. Zinc.

Kriegsmarine Narvik Shield on dark blue cloth. Full prongs. Backplate in place. 

Eight Kriegsmarine trade badges and breast eagles. 

Kriegsmarine songbook "Liederbuch der Kriegsmarine".

SA Sports Badge award booklet. Unissued (blank).

Kriegsmarine service watch. "ZentRa" marked. "535769" numbered. Replaced wristband. The watch runs very fine!
