Clearly worn German WWI period time M16 combat helmet. Complete with its inner leather ring  and all originally attached rivets. Complete leather liner. Two pockets are still closed. One pocket has the flaps missing and was just stuffed with toilet paper. Original leather cord. Clear signs of age to the lining and chin strap. The chin strap is actually quite fragile and also damaged.

Nice shall which comes with most of its original factory paint! Signs of wear. Named with black paint to the back. Hard to read.

Unknown size but fairly large. Probably shell size 66. No markings visible.
