  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Description

A nicely worn M1886 spike helmet for Bavarian Chevauleger officers. Typical privately purchased example with fine ribbed silk lining. No extra holes to the leaether corpus. All insignia are period time attached!

The cross arms, the chain, the visor bar and the reverse bar look to be from zinc. Gold finished. Most of the gold finished to the chain is gone. The front badge as well as the removable spike are brass. Fire-gilt.
