Description

Awards and medals to German Cross in gold recipient Oberleutnant Erwin Müller, his father, his mother, his brother in law Karl and Walter, most probably his brother.

The medals were set up in a display post war. Most probably by Erwin Müller himself. He titled the paper tag next to his Iron Cross 1st Class "Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse mit russischer Erde". (Iron Cross 1st Class with Russian dirt) Only Müller himself would title it this way.

Awards Erwin Müller:
German Cross in gold made by Zimmermann, Pforzheim. A so-called "light" pattern. 20 maker marked to the reverse of the pin. Very nice patina. No damage to the enamelled swastika. Originally attached hinge, catch and pin but the hinge has been resoldered to its reverse.

Nicely worn Close Combat Clasp in bronze. FLL maker marked. Good condition 2.

Two 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Both nicely worn with great patina. One unmarked, the other piece L/16 marked on the pin. No damage.

Wound Badge in silver. Zinc. Crimped hinge and catch. It looks to be L/15 maker marked to the bottom of the catch.
Infantry Assault Badge in silver. Semi-hollow. Zinc. 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Probably unmarked. Nice condition.

East Medal with ribbon. His ribbon bar, a Jäger sleeve badge and postwar medals.
