Hand-carved wooden wall plate to commemorate the campaigns of the "1. KOMPANIE HEIDEBATAILLON" from 1939 until 1941. I./Infanterie-Regiment 73 was nick-named the "Heidebataillon". It was based in Celle.
Excellent quality piece with all letters separately inserted. The "I" of "Kompanie" is missing.
