VIEW DESCRIPTION

The sabre has a nice clean blade. Only a few small stains. A so-called "Steckrückenklinge mit Schör" blade. "Hörster Solingen" maker marked. White celluloid handle with intact wire wrapping. Nice gilt brass hilt fittings. A lion's head pommel. Typical folding crossguard (fully working). "0 3202" numbered. Furthermore "58" numbered to the bottom. Attached officer's portepee.

Black leather scabbard with fine gilt brass fittings. The fitting on the top is loose. "59 B" numbered.

A nice Kriegsmarine sabre!
