The dagger comes with an early blade. "Franz Steinhoff Solingen-Wald" maker marked. Furthermore the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland". The blade is in good condition, only a bit of the tip is missing.
A brown wooden handle with inserted eagle and SA roundel. Two repaired chips and slight dents on the back. No area marking to the crossguard. Brown re-painted steel scabbard with nickel fittings. Four small "dents" to the upper fitting. All screws in position.
Including a brown replica leather hanger. "OLC" maker marked snap clip. Fully working.
The dagger was assembled after 1945 using original wartime parts.
