An excellent portrait photo of SS-Standartenführer Max Wünsche, commander of the I./SS-Panzer-Regiment 1 and SS-Panzer-Regiment 12 "Hitlerjugend". He also served with the LAH and became Adolf Hilter's orderly officer on 1. October 1938.
The reverse has a hand-written dedication by him "Für Hptm. Dieter Riedl -or- Rieckl M. Wünsche". Also the photographer's stamp. Remains of glue. The photograph was taken from a photo album.
