Description

Document grouping to Bootsmann Hans Kruse serving onboard the auxiliary cruiser "Michel". The ship was sunk on 17. October 1943, by the US submarine "Tarpon". During this attack, Hans Kruse lost his life as well as another 263 soldiers.

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Issued in the summer of 1943. Signed by a Fregattenkapitän. "Schiff 28" was the Kriegsmarine code for the ship. 

Large Kriegsmarine reservist's certificate. Issued on 30.4.1937. Facsimile by Großadmiral Erich Raeder.

Furthermore some period time documents. Mainly referring to his death.
