Very early 1st pattern DLV/Luftwaffe Borddolch. So-called "transitional model".
The blade is in good condition. It has some small stains on both sides. "Paul Weyersberg, Solingen" maker marked and a Luftwaffe acceptance mark. Early nickel-silver ("Neusilber") handle fittings. Blue leather finished grip with intact wire wrapping. Gilding left to the swastikas.
Leather finished scabbard without metal construction inside. Some areas of the scabbard were restored (black repainted) as well as a few small dents. Nickel fittings. They are attached by three large staples instead of screws.
With the matching dagger chain. Tombak type. A fully working snap clip. Furthermore a brown leather belt loop.
