VIEW DESCRIPTION

Early visor cap for an officer serving with Geb.Aufkl.Abt.67 which was part of the 2. Gebirgs-Division. The cap is rarely "G.A.A.67" unit marked to the inside.

The sweat-band shows to more markings: A hard to read maker's mark "Peter ..... 1939" and a "HB37" date stamp.

Typical early orange color linen lining with a size "57" stamped celluloid diamond. One crack.

Early period time hand-applied cap insignia. Both hand-embroidered officer's patterns.

A nice early cap. However, moth damaged!
