Description

Heer 4-pocket service tunic for a Generalleutant serving with XV. Kosaken-Kavallerie-Korps. Certainly worn as an Oberst tunic at first with changes made after promotion by a tailor. You can see traces of smaller collar tabs (stiching) to the obverse of the collar.

Hand-attached embroidered general's breast eagle. Complete and period time attached buttons with red piping along the button line. Machine-attached general's rank collar tabs of impressive quality. Nice patina.

Slip-on boards for a Generalleutnant. One with slight moth damage. Both come nicely worn and fine patina.
Four pair of loops for awards. Eight loops for a long ribbon bar (distance: 11cm).

Hand-attached machine-embroidered sleeve badge. A so-called "Bulawa" badge worn by members of XV. Kosaken-Kavallerie-Korps. Two crossed swords on blue backing.

Fine silk lining. No name or tailor's tag.
Medium size. Some minor moth damage.

Straight army general's tunic with typical red bordering to the sides (Lampassen). Silk lining. No name or tailor's tag. All buttons period time attached and complete.
Moth damage.
Waist: 39cm x 103cm.
