This smock was worn with an officer's type cuff title "Das Reich". It was attached by hand and shows matching signs of wear and age. The cuff title is a flatwire type and 43cm long. About 5cm of the seam has opened so you can look underneath the title. There is no crisp shadow but still might have been applied period time.
Machine-embroidered eagle. Again, attached by hand. Same patina and condition and nicely matching.
The smock was slightly shortened in its height. The cuffs were slightly shortened as well. Both pockets look to have seen a small repair to its edges (top and bottom).
One hole to the reverse. No rips. Replaced neck cord.
