WWI "Ehrenbecher" Honor Goblet grouping to Leutnant Adam


Description

Excellent grouping to Leutnant Adam serving as a fighter pilot during WWI. Awarded the Honor Goblet for Air Victories (Ehrenbecher für den Sieger im Luftkampf).

WWI Honor Goblet for Air Victories. Made from real silver. "800" silver hallmarked and "half-moon" as well as "crown" stamped on the side. "Chef des Feldflugwesens" marked to the bottom. Furthermore the motto "Dem Sieger im Luftkampf" around the goblet. All four "ball legs" in position. No dents. Height: 19.5 cm. Very hard to find!

Bavarian Pilot's Badge. Made by Karl Pöllath Schrobenhausen. Maker marked and "800" silver hallmarked to the back. Hollow inside, so-called "hohl verbödet". Including the original dark red case of issue. "Carl Poellath" maker marked to the lining. The case opens and closes correctly. A very rare and nice set!

1914 Iron Cross 1st Class on screw-back. Made from real silver. "800" silver hallmarked to the back. Three-part construction. Iron core. Original black paint. Slight curved. 

Engraved liqueur cup showing the Bavarian Pilot's Badge. Silvered. Height: 8.5 cm.

A portrait postcard of Leutnant Adam as well as a photo showing two aircraft. One of them was his "machine". Postcard-size.

A colored picture showing the coat of arms of the Adam family. Period time framed. The frame is made from wood with a glass plate on the front. Size: 46.5x42 cm.

Very hard to find!
