Description

An early SA Service Dagger made by Ernst Pack & Söhne, Solingen.

It was originally a so-called "Röhm" dagger. The dedication on the back was period time removed. After the "Röhm Putsch" in 1934, the dedication had to be removed from all daggers. The front shows the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland". Furthermore the maker's mark by Ernst Pack & Söhne.

Nice brown wooden handle with original inserted SA roundel and national eagle. "W" (Feldherrnhalle) stamped on the lower crossguard. The handle has two fine stress cracks but no chipping. Early nickel fittings. Around 45 % of the original brown anodizing on the scabbard is still present. All four screws are in position. Two small dents to the lower fitting.

SA Service Daggers from members of the SA-Standarte "Feldherrnhalle“ (SA-Wachstandarte München) are very hard to find.

Signs of wear.
