An extensive photo album to an anti-tank gunner serving with Infanterie-Regiment 9, called "Graf 9". The album documents his basic military training and the campaigns against Poland and France. Including some hand-written notes by the soldier.

Two companies of the regiment wanted to support the resistance fighters of 20. July 1944 (20 July plot). The best known resistance fighters of the regiment were Henning von Tresckow, Friedrich Karl Klausing, Philipp von Bismarck, Hasso von Boehmer, Axel von dem Bussche and Fritz-Dietlof Graf von der Schulenburg. Furthermore the later German Bundespräsident Richard von Weizäcker was the last adjutant of the regiment.
