Pre-war Kriegsmarine photo album showing photos of 2 foreign trips of "Kreuzer Emden" from 1937-1938 and of "Panzerschiff Deutschland" in 1939.
The first part (Kreuzer Emden) contains 154 photos and postcards, among them the official travel order, a portrait photo of the captain, photos from the destinations, Equator baptism, one photo of Konteradmiral Wilhelm Marschall, and one group photo of officers and crew.
The second part (Panzerschiff Deutschland) shows 130 photos of the journeys abroad in February 1939 to the Canarian islands and Spain and 26 photos of a journey to Denmark and 3 loose photos.
Furthermore, 23 very interesting photos of the visit of Adolf Hitler on board of the "Deutschland" 1939, showing him with Großadmiral Erich Raeder and other top politicians of the Third Reich.
Most of the photos are attached with photo corners, several photos were inscribed by hand on the reverse. 7 photo postcards are missing.
