Wehrmacht M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Kriegsmarine.
Paint: Original factory paint. Early "apple green" color which was later overpainted in the field after 1940 with a fiedlgrey paint. Both, the early factory paint and the field paint are covering about 95% of the shell.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 85%. The national decal was removed period time.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Replaced cord. Unreadable size stamp. Most probably 57.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
