Well worn Luftwaffe visor cap named to Uffz. Schaurecken serving with division Hermann Göring. A paper name tag to the maker marked celluloid diamond: "Uffz. L. Schaurecken I Fallschirm Pz.Gren.Regt 1 H.G."
White piping as only worn by Hermann Göring troops! Removed Luftwaffe wing badge and replaced with a zinc Panzer skull (one prong missing). Clearly faded to the black cap band and no shadow of the original wreath badge can be seen.
Matching Luftwaffe cap eagle. Zinc. Same patina. One prong missing. The eagle has separated from the swastika.
Some Hermann Göring troops have worn their visor caps like that as proven by period time photographs.
Only a few moth bites. Serious signs of wear to the sweat-band.
