VIEW DESCRIPTION

Two proposals for promotion to Generalmajor der Polizei. Issued to Johannes Schroers on 3.12.1941 and 23.7.1942. Originally signed by Wilhelm Frick twice. Each certificate has four holes. A4-format.

Schroers was prompted to Mayor of the City of Bremen by the British Allies on 26.04.1945 but was dismissed four days later. Schroers also held the rank of SS-Brigadeführer.
