Important Prussian belt buckle - "925" silver


Description

A very rare Prussian dress buckle. The front shows the Prussian (eagle) coat of arms. On the chest is the royal monogram "FR" (Fredericus Rex) for King Frederick I and II. Made from real silver. "925" hallmarked and numbered "020" on the back. Remains of the original silver finish are present. Beautiful patina. Both original keepers are also in place.

Probably worn by a member of the royal family, an officer of the royal guard, or a high official at the Prussian court.

Diameter: 60 mm.

Weight: 86.44 gr.
