Description

The Nymphenburg porcelain box was a souvenir gift to guests and participants of the Olympic Games, presented at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, 
Made from white unglazed porcelain, so-called "Bisquit-Porzellan". With inscription in relief "IV. Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen 1936". On the lid are the raised Olympic rings. The Munich city emblem "Münchner Kindl" is impressed into the bottom of the box. The blue Nymphenburg porcelain manufactury mark is stamped on the reverse.

Size. 15,5 x 9 x 4,5 cm.  Some brown spots at the relief.
