Photo album of an officers' training course in the Marineschule Flensburg-Mürwik from 1. IV. - 31. X. 1937. The album came from Joachim Trummler, who was a member of the "Olympia-Crew 1936".
The course began with intensive sail training. Afterward, a visit to the Fliegerhorst in Westerland/Sylt and a Navigation course in September 1937 in Helgoland, followed by infantry, artillery, and shooting training. Visit of Generalfeldmarschall Werner von Blomberg and Generaladmiral Erich Raeder in Mürwik. The album ends with photos from the Crew party.
Enclosed, a booklet "Crew 1936" "Nachrichtenblatt Nr. 4 with handwritten annotations from Dietrich Trummler, the brother of the late Joachim Trummler who died at the U 122 in 1940.
Totally 112 photos, almost all of them are subtitled. Picked in with photo corners.
