A nice photo collection of Major Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer, Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds winner. He was the most successful Nachtjäger pilot of all time.
The collection consists of eight original photos and 49 postwar photos (prints of original photos). It shows numerous night fighter aces such as Friedrich Rumpelhardt, Karl-Heinz Scherfling, Heinz Schnaufer, Hans-Joachim Jabs, Eduard Lindinger and other highly-decorated pilots. An original photo was hand-signed by Friedrich Rumpelhardt. Furthermore, one postwar photo was signed by him and one by Eduard Lindinger. All photos were glued on the sheets.
