Heavy leather boots / shoes issued to German Gebirgsjäger.
Typical construction with grey felt on the top and nails on the leather sole. Several unreadable markings on the sole covered by dried mud. There are other unreadable markings on the inside of the shoe as well. The leather bottom sole is worn down. Overall, the leather is hard.
