Heer Gebirgsjäger mountain trousers - early
Description
Heer Gebirgsjäger mountain trousers (Berghose). A very rare rather early example form green cloth also worn by members of the Gebirgspolizei!
Typical construction with pocket flaps to all four pockets.
Lining: Grey-brown cotton
Markings: Size stamps. "1940" dated. Maker marked. Interestingly, a separate piece of close with the markings was attached to the lining and probably covers another maker's and size mark. That was 100% period time added. It would be interesting to look behind it!
All buttons complete and original attached.
Including leg straps. One replaced.
Nice patina!
Roughly 5 moth holes.
