Description

Uniform grouping to a Leutnant coming inside two leather motorcycle transport bags about 15 years ago. Available to the market for the first time.

A privately purchased officer's variant of an M44 field tunic. Tailored from the correct "brownish" M44 cloth.
The tunic comes with a fine silk lining and two inner pockets.

There are three pairs of slightly damaged loops for three awards and another pair for a ribbon bar which is still attached. Ribbons for the Iron Cross and East Medal.

Officer's insignia for a Pionier Leutnant all with exactly the same signs of wear and patina attached by hand. It looks like there were other officer's tabs attached by machine once. This Leutnant might have changed branch or maybe the insignia were removed and than attached again by hand postwar. In any event that happend by the soldier or his wife since this tunic was never available on the market before.

Complete and originally attached buttons. Two single buttons inside the dust containing pockets.

No moth holes! Medium size!
A very rare M44 tunic!
