Description

Grouping to the Afrikakorps veteran Obergefreiter Waldhier. Personal Wehrpaß, photos, his ID tag, a bakelite cigarett case and personal handkerchief. 

6.6.1940 issued Wehrpaß with originally attached photograph to Obergefreiter Waldhier. A long list of units starting on 5.5.1941 mentioning 5./Leichte Flakabteilung 891 and 829 which were formed in Athens in 1942. Furthermore, the list mentions his Africa unit which was 1./Leichte Flak-Abt.841 (19.Flak-Division).

Awarded the Flak Badge and the War Merit Cross 2nd Class, both on 20.4.1944, as noted on page 21 and 23.

A note on page 32 confirming he served in Africa: "21.5.42 - 28.9.42 Teilnahme an den Kämpfen in Nordafrika an 95 Tagen Feinbeschuß".

Wehrpaß in very nice condition.

Aluminum ID tag "1./L. Flakers.Abt.95" in good condition. It matches the Wehrpaß information confirming that it is 100% his ID tag.

15 original photographs including photos taken in Africa and photo of Waldhier wearing his tropical uniform. One "Saloniki 1943" dated.
