Description

Fantastic grouping to Lt. Gregory born in 1905. He started his military career at the Reichswehr and joined Luftwaffe later serving until 1945!

Gregory was a recipient of the NSDAP membership badge in gold. He saw service in Afrika, Sicily, Denmark, Sardinia, Norway and many more places.

Certificates:
Certiifcate to the 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class with ink signature of Hugo Sperrle. Not folded. 28.6.1941.
Certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in gold. 11.11.1943. Folded once. Famsimile signature of Lörzer.
Certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in silver. 13.8.1941. Ink signature of the Gruppenkommandeur I./KG 30. Folded once.
Certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in bronze. 20.4.1941. Original signature of the Kommodore of KG30. Ink. Folded once. One ink stain

Awards:
Excellent tombak Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in gold. G.H.OSANG maker marked. Excellent finish. Great patina. His initials "KG" scratched to the reverse.

1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Unmarked. Magnetic iron core. Made by Godeth or Zimmermann. Slightly curved. Nice condition.

1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. "120" maker marked. Magnetic iron core. Including the orginal ribbon he had worn on his uniform. 

Luftwaffe Observer Badge. A fine tombak example made by Assmann. Nice patina. Period time replaced pin.

NSDAP membership badge in gold. "71554" numbered. No chips to the enamel however a period time replaced pin.

All his awards are shown on photos which are part of this grouping! These are 100% the same awards!

Personal KG30 ring from 900 silver. "900" hallmarked as well as maker marked. It shows an eagle, the crest of KG30 to the front side. Well worn. Diameter: 20mm

Insignia:
Several rank pips for the shoulder boards as well as two pair of matching collar tabs and one single. Four pair of shoulder boards and three singles. Please note that some come with tropical buttons.
Visor cap wreath badge and uniform collar officers cord. One officer's visor cap chin strap.

Soldbuch:
Soldbuch with originally applied photograph in tropical uniform! Issued on 14.10.1939. First page loose but all pages complete. A lot of unit entries on page 4 and 19 right up to February 1945!

A "Feldzugsgruppe Italien" stamp to page 21.

Photo lot containing many new photos of Gregory. Many show him wearing the awards still part of his grouping. 126 loose photos and another 20 inside a small album. There 22 photo rolls all with information writtten on it documenting his military time pre 1945. 

A large size (42cm x 31cm) photo album with 257 fantastic photos inside documenting the history of Kampfgschwader 30 during WWII. Showing high ranking individulas, Knight's Cross winners, aircrafts, etc...

Miscellaneous:
A wooden wall picture showing the crest of Kampfgeschwader 30. Height: 26cm. Carved by hand. Hans Liskas's famous sketch book (printed) with notes of Lt. Gregory inside.
