Description

A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe comes with an absolutely original khaki camo paint. This very early helmet was surely worn by an Afrikakorps veteran!

Paint: Original blue factory paint in place. It can mainly be see to the inside.  The outside comes with the original Afrikakorps camo paint! About 70% in place. Very well worn condition. Signs of age.

Decals: The eagle decal is about 40%. A first pattern "drop-tail" eagle. The national decal is about 55%.

Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord missing. Size 56. Some red color spots to the liner and inner shell.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.

Chin strap: Soft leather. Slightly shortened to fit the wearer and therefore unmarked.

Markings: ET64

A very rare helmet found in England decades ago. A UK Afrika vet bring back!
