Rescued out of the bin of the veteran's wife who spent her last day inside an old people's home. The family put it in the trash when clearing her room after she died. The Wehrpaß was taken by the cleaning lady! Never available on the market before!
25.11.1940 issued Wehrpaß to Michael K. born in January 1922. Ink SS stamp to the outside!

A long list of his campaigns including Charkow. The list ends in August 1943.
His unit was sent to France to fight the American invasion in June 1944. Rottenführer K. was killed in action during these batles. Page 35 tells he was killed in action on 10.8.1944 at Bion 3km South of Mortain. He was burried at "Schloss Dieufit" (castle ?) near Bellou en Houlme which is around 20km North East Domfront.
Today, he is burried at the war cemetary at Mont-de-Huisnes, 44/175 as www.volksbund.de can tell.
