Veteran purchased photo and document grouping to Stabsgefreiter Alfons R. (1919 - 2005). He served with Reiterzug / Infanterie-Regiment 97 from 12.12.1939 until 20.4.1945 being released from prisonship on 10.6.1945. R. served with Kavallerie-Regiment 17 before he was sent to Inf.Rgt.97. Part of the grouping is a nice early photo in parade tunic. His Feldpost number was 32491
Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class issued on 29.6.1942. 46. Division stamped. Original signature of the division commander. Gefreiter R. served with R.Z./Infanterie-Regiment 97 at this time.

Color Reichsberunfswettkampf citations to him and his later wife Maria. There is also a photo of her.
