A very nice Heer M42 field tunic. Typically designed without vertical pocket bars but pocket flaps still constructed like the earlier M36, M40 and M41 tunics. As an M41 pattern, the M42 also comes with six buttons.
Breast eagle: machine-embroidered. EM/NCO pattern. Attached by machine through the liner! Not uncommon, when it comes to an M42 tunic.
Collar tabs: EM/NCO. Machine-woven. Attached by machine
Shoulder boards: Nice Unteroffizier boards (slip-on) with "orange/red" piping. We still believe it is artillery rather than Feldgendarmerie. Rare fieldgrey tress!

Buttons: All buttons complete and period time attached.
Lining: fine silk
Markings: Clear size markings, an "M43" stamp as well as a "Paul Kübler" maker's mark.
