Excellent German M40 helmet in nearly unworn condition. The type of helmet was issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polilzei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Narly 100% still present. No real signs of wear.
Decals: The eagle decal is about nearly 100%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Very soft. Replaced (modern) cord. 59 size stamped. A few stains. Minor signs of wear.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
