A German M40 helmet. The type of helmet was issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polilzei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Paint: Original factory paint partly covered with a period time added green camo paint. Wire was attached to the helmet period time to fasten camo material. There is camo paint to the wire. Some is also covering the decal. Very rare.
