Hand-carved wooden wall relief showing the uniform squadron emblem of most night fighter squadrons "Nachtjagdgeschwader" (adopted from ZG 76). On the back is an attached paper tag with the text "Unseren Kommandeur Herrn Hptm. Herber zum Geburgstag überreicht - 3. Staffel".
The wall relief was a gift from the members of the 3. Staffel to Hauptmann Herber. He served with I. Gruppe (3. Staffel) of the Nachtjagdgeschwader 101.
Size: 27.5x15.5 cm. No chipping.
Includes a "shooting certificate" to him. Issued also by members of the unit ("field made"). Signed by a Hauptmann.
