U-32 commander Hans Jenisch - Bundesmarine uniform grouping
Description
Postwar Bundesmarine uniform of Kapitän zur See Hans Jenisch, Knight's Cross recipient and comanderof U-32 during WWII. He was awarded the Knight's Cross on 7. October 1940 as Oberleutnant zur See and commander of U-32.
Named white visor cap. Colani with personal ribbon bar identifying him as a U-Boot veteran and Knight's Cross recipient. Including two 1957 pattern awards were were added at a later time according to our consignor. His colani tunic goes with the matchin straight trousers.
